Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress most well known for her performance in Tamil and Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. Her sister, who is younger, is a Belgian research assistant who lives in Leuven. Jeremiah was brought up within Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was an eight-year-old classical pianist who was also a huge geek. She was part of the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. The group was the beginning of her singing and music composition career. She worked as a stage performer at her university and participated in a variety of plays staged in the form of The Madras Players, EVAM and other theatre groups. Andrea was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea started the acting profession as an infant performer as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her starred in a brand new advertisement for Leo alongside actor Shiva. She also was a part-time actress in a series that was broadcast on Podhigai. She has performed all over India. She was a part of a short performance in Kanda Mudhal in 2005, which is the finale. After she rendered a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiya he asked her to play in the role of a lead female characters in his next project Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani the homemaker who's husband is in the middle of an affair with someone else. Andrea was selected to play the character following the actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were approached. It was first released in early 2010. It was released in the month of August, 2011. Venkat Prabhu made his debut with the multi-starrer Mankatha. She was asked to fill a smaller support role. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film by Rajeev ravi that was released in 2013, was the actress's Malayalam debut.
