Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow is a German woman who was born of Christian parents. She has three siblings. They divorced her parents when she was just 17 years old. When their business collapsed, she faced more difficulties with her finances. The fact that she was anorexic, and also bulimic, added further to the problems she was facing. Gossow has been very honest in her explanation of why she decided to quit ARCH Enemy's band as their vocalist. She said, "There's a place and the right time for everything." The year 1991 was the year I started my professional career. It was no longer fun living a life of nomadism. So I opted not to be a fool anymore, but instead quit. Originally, the leader of this group was Johan Liiva. She was then replaced in 2000 with German vocalist Angela Gossow.
