Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child was born into the family of South London. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss and her mother is English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was 14. She pursued acting studies in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in numerous stage productions, including the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with the film Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. The following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she was a part of Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi character on ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). The credits on stage for Madekwe are Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes at The CW, and was then ended. She was cast in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was confirmed in May 2013. Following two seasons as the main character she appeared as a guest in the very first episode of season three. The actress played Tituba in the TV program Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend of many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wed in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She was raised by both parents Roy and Patty as well as four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey during the winter and summer months. She grew up in stadiums and played baseball. Ashley couldn't walk, however she was able to dance. This led to the fact that at the age of 2 when she was two, she began to learn about Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dance when she was just a few years old. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, with top divisions like tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. She also competed in Acrobatics, Acrobatics Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and much more. Additionally, she was awarded best soloist awards at all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
