Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the world championship for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles along with their younger sibling Adria, who were adopted from Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston region) were raised there. Simone began to take an interest in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl during a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for 11 years, under supervision of instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles won the vault and floor exercise at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before getting to the highest level of competition in the year 2011. She dominated her sport within a mere two years. What stood Biles out was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of effort she put into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
